Event: Dr. Luba Foltz, UW graduate and M.D. from the UW School of Medicine and Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Seattle Concierge OB GYN

Tuesday, December 10, 2024, 12 – 1:30pm PST

Mid-career is often an exciting and fulfilling time for faculty. For many women faculty, this career stage can intersect with peri-menopause and menopause symptoms and physical changes that impact women’s personal and professional experiences. In this December Mentoring-for-Leadership event, Dr. Luba Foltz will discuss brain health in mid-life, the impact of peri-menopause and menopause symptoms on women and their career experiences, and strategies to address managing symptoms resulting from peri-menopause and menopause. We’re aiming to create a positive and affirming discussion that can both support those experiencing this transition and shed insight into how institutions can support faculty careers during peri-menopause and menopause
