Managing relationships, expectations, and interactions with colleagues, students, and other can often be challenging. This workshop features Dr. Neil Kirkpatrick, Director of the Parent Child Clinic within the Department of Psychology at the University of Washington and covers strategies for increasing desired behaviors, and not inadvertently increasing non-desired behaviors; most effective ways to acknowledge and praise behavior in others; and the pitfalls of inadvertent reinforcement of problems behaviors and reliance on tangible rewards.
