Event: Preparing for a Professionally Productive Summer
Monday, June 8, 2015, 12:15 – 1:30pm PDT
With the academic year ending and summer beckoning, UW ADVANCE’s final Mentoring-for-Leadership lunch event will focus on “Preparing for a Productive Summer.” This topical lunch event will offer time to strategically look ahead to your summer plans. The hands-on session will be led by UW ADVANCE’s Program/Research Manager, Dr. Joyce Yen. Discussion will include setting goals, outlining tasks to complete the goals, scheduling time to achieve the tasks, making a daily plan, and setting up an accountability framework. Be sure to bring a copy of your calendar and any other relevant planning materials with you to the workshop so you can walk away from the session with your summer plans ready to implement.
