ADVANCE will be hosting a second Interfolio workshop on Thursday, 11/15/18, from 9:00 – 10:30 am in Loew 355. It will focus on developing evaluation rubrics for the application phase and Skype/Phone interview phase. We will review best practices for creating rubrics and evaluating candidates. There will also be active time for search committees to refine their rubrics with the support of the UW ADVANCE team. You may wish to bring your laptops to work on your rubrics in real time. Because this may be the first time some units are asking for diversity statements from candidates, the workshop will specifically address creating rubrics to evaluate diversity statements.
