Event: "Graduating Your First Students"

We are pleased to announce a call for RSVPs to this quarter's ADVANCE professional development workshop for pre-tenure faculty in our science and engineering departments will focus on graduating your first student. During this informal session you will hear from Professors Jessica Lundquist (Civil and Environmental Engineering) and Jayadev Athreya (Mathematics. Potential topics of discussion include (a) How did you know your student was ready?; (b)What did you do if your student had a hard time finishing?; (c) What challenges or types of support did you encounter from other committee members?
