This lunch will focus on what it was like for female STEM faculty at UW in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. It will feature a panel of eminent trailblazing STEM faculty at UW, including Irene Peden, Paula Szkody, and Frieda Taub. Understanding some of the historical context for female STEM faculty at UW helps informs the culture and environment for faculty at UW today. We hope you will join us for this engaging discussion.
