Are you unsure about how to get feedback from your graduate students? If so, this quarter’s ADVANCE pre-tenure faculty workshop may be helpful.
We are pleased to announce a call for RSVPs for our Winter Pre-Tenure Faculty Workshop. This quarter’s workshop topic, “Taking the pulse of your graduate students’ experiences” will help you improve your relationships with your graduate students and increase effectiveness in your graduate student mentoring. Dr. Rebecca Neumann, Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Dr. Jim Borgford-Parnell, Associate Director and Instructional Consultant at the Center for Engineering Learning and Teaching (CELT), will share their ideas and insights about soliciting feedback from graduate students and assessing your mentoring skills.
