*Dr. Patricia Wasley* is the Dean of the University of Washington
College of Education. Her interests include school renewal, whole
school change, teacher and administrative change, teacher education, and
issues related to schools. Dean Wasley was the Dean of Bank Street
College from 1996-2000 before becoming Dean of the UW College of
Education in 2000. She was Senior Researcher for School Change,
Coalition of Essential Schools and Annenberg Institute of School Reform
at Brown University from 1989-1996, and a Project Director for Teacher
Leadership Strand at the Puget Sound Educational Consortium from
1988-1989. She has also served in the public schools as an Assistant
Superintendent, Curriculum Supervisor, and Teacher from 1975-1985.

Dean Wasley earned her Ed.D., from the University of Washington in
1989. She earned her M.A., Standard Certification K-12, and B.A. from
Western Washington University.
