*Dr. Cheryl Cameron* is Vice Provost for Academic Personnel at the
University of Washington. She is also a Professor in the Department of
Dental Public Health Sciences within the School of Dentistry. As Vice
Provost for Academic Personnel, Dr. Cameron is responsible for the
faculty personnel system and matters related to faculty and
administration. She also serves as the Director of the University’s
Office of Scholarly Integrity.

Dr. Cameron received a doctoral degree in Educational Policy,
Governance, and Administration from the University of Washington in 1986
and a law degree from Seattle University in 1994. In 1990, she was a
legislative fellow in Washington, D.C. with the American Dental
Education Association. Since 2003, Dr. Cameron has served on the
Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services
Administration, Advisory Committee on Interdisciplinary, Community-Based
Linkages. Dr. Cameron publishes and speaks on legislative, policy, and
legal issues in higher education.
