The 3rd Large-Scale Survey of Actual Conditions of Gender Equality in Scientific and Technological Professions, Survey Report, Concise Summary (August 2013)

These three surveys have been carried out to clarify the actual conditions of female researchers in STEM in Japan. Surveys have been done every five years since 2003. We can point out the case of "underrepresentation" of female researchers as well as heavier burden to women side in family life. we need leadership development as well as leveling the field.
