The BRAINS Program is impacting not only the individual program participants, but also the broader neuroscience and diversity in science landscape.

As of 2020:

  • 97% of participants continue to pursue science careers (within and outside of academia)
  • 42 participants have become assistant professors since entering the program
  • 15 participants have advanced to associate professor, full professor, chair and provost positions
